U.S. Customs strictly crack down on water surface orders, TEMU sellers need to be vigilant!

Last week, foreign media reported that TEMU sellers used running water orders, prompting TEMU to immediately issue a notice strictly prohibiting such behavior. Shortly thereafter, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced that 160,000 running water orders were seized in packages from China!

This news undoubtedly makes the running water problem in the United States once again severely hit. In this regard, we remind all freight forwarders and shippers to choose a legal way to deliver, and do not lose more than you gain.

According to CBP, the Chicago branch intercepted 8 shipments last week and found a total of 161,860 counterfeit U.S. Postal Service labels (running surface orders). U.S. Customs officials said that these packages were all from China, and if these labels were genuine, the face value would exceed $118,000.

In this case announcement, CBP pointed out that the number of counterfeit labels on USPS has increased significantly, especially during holidays. The Chicago Field Operations Director praised the professionalism of the customs officers, saying that it is very difficult to identify these very realistic counterfeit labels and prevent them from reaching their destination. The quality of counterfeit labels is constantly improving, and it is difficult for ordinary consumers to distinguish between real and fake.

The sad reality behind the popularity of running water surface single is that bad money drives out good money.
