2024 International Export Goods Safe Transport Report.
Jun 13,2024
Recently, a number of industry bodies have jointly developed guidelines on the transport of dangerous goods, aiming to reduce accidents caused by improper packaging or handling of goods in sea, port or inland transportation. The guidelines classify dangerous goods into three main hazards: fire and explosion hazards, risk of leakage, and risk of improper packaging. In particular, it is emphasized that these goods will be more likely to pose a danger if the declaration is wrong or the identity information is incomplete.

1. fire and explosion hazards
These goods may catch fire and explode under certain conditions, causing significant damage and casualties, and are usually governed by dangerous goods regulations. Typical examples include: carbon/charcoal, calcium hypochlorite, lithium batteries, cotton and wool, fish meal and krill, seed cake.
2. leakage risk
These goods, if improperly packed or damaged, may leak, endanger the health of cleanup personnel and pollute the environment. Examples include hides, wine, bitumen, cocoa butter, waste engines and engine parts, vegetable oils and other oils, especially those contained in flexible containers.
3. the risk of improper packaging
Improper packing or fixing of goods in a container may result in injury to persons or damage to nearby containers, property or other goods. Such accidents can cause serious accidents at sea or on land, such as truck overturns and train derailments, such as logs and lumber, steel coils, marble and granite.
