Heavy! Maersk announces discontinuation of this route service

On May 31, Maersk's official website announced,Announced that its TP20 US-East service will officially end in the coming weeks.

The route was originally designed to complement shipping services between Asia and the East Coast of the United States. however,Due to the continuous deterioration of the current situation in the Red Sea, including transportation delays and capacity constraints, Maersk has decided to discontinue TP20 services for route network restructuring to better adapt and meet customer needs.

The following is specific information about the last voyage of the TP20 route out of service:

Last voyage from Asia:

Voyage 424E BSG Barbados ETD Shanghai 13 June 2024

Last voyage from North America:

Voyage 429W BSG Barbados ETD Newark 17 July 2024

Following the termination of the TP20 route, to ensure continued coverage of these markets, Maersk will offer alternatives to customers to ensure continuity of service.
