According to Announcement No. 150 of the General Administration of Customs in 2025, starting from August 1, 2025, the General Administration of Customs will conduct spot checks on some imported and exported commodities that are not subject to statutory inspection. This measure aims to further strengthen the quality supervision of imported and exported commodities, protect consumer rights and market order.

The scope of spot check products includes imported commodities such as student stationery, baby products, electronic products, household appliances, low-voltage electrical appliances, and daily accessories.
