At the same time, due to the relative stability and transparency of FAK rates, it also reduces the complexity of freight negotiations and fee calculations between freight forwarding companies and customers.
However, using FAK rates also requires some attention. First of all, traders and freight forwarders need to fully understand the market situation and compare the FAK rates of different shipping companies or logistics providers to ensure the best transportation costs. Secondly, since FAK rates may change with market supply and demand, fuel prices and other factors, it is necessary to clarify the rate adjustment mechanism and related terms when signing a transportation contract.
