Eurozone inflation slows to 5.5 percent in June

Recently, Eurostat released preliminary data that year-on-year inflation in the euro area fell by six-tenths to 5.5 per cent in June from the previous month, compared with 6.1 per cent in May, the smallest price rise since January 2022. Of the eurozone countries, Luxembourg had the lowest inflation rate of 1 per cent in June, while Slovakia had the highest rate of 11.3 per cent.

Brazil's Population Growth Rate at a New Low for Nearly 12 Years

June South Korea exports down 11.7 percent year-on-year
A few days ago, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources of South Korea released a report that South Korea exports in June were 54.24 billion US dollars, down 6.0 percent from the same period last year, and imports in June were 53.11 billion US dollars, down 11.7 percent from the same period last year. The trade balance was in surplus of $1.13 billion in June South Korea, the first monthly trade balance surplus in South Korea since February 2022.
Pakistan's central bank foreign exchange reserves up $0.533 billion
Recently, the foreign exchange reserves held by the central bank of Pakistan increased by US $0.533 billion to US $4.0699 billion. It mainly comes from loans from international financial institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the World Bank and the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), as well as international trade and workers' remittances. The increase was primarily attributable to the realization of a $30 billion million gain on government business loans.
